Part of our team have had a book chapter accepted for the forthcoming title 'Histories of Bioinvasions in Mediterranean-type Environments' in the Springer Environmental History series. The chapter covers the history and ecology of the invasive, and some non-invasive, trees and shrubs found on the Akrotiri peninsula in Cyprus.

Drawing on new archive and field work, the chapter is a collaboration between a number of ecologists and an environmental historian from Eastern Michigan University with a background in Cypriot forestry policy, Dr Sarah Harris.

Look out for the book and our chapter in 2018!
